SIX: The Musical Line

SIX: The Musical is a Tony Award-winning comedy about the six wives of King Henry VIII. In this modern retelling, each queen faces off against one another in a pop concert to tell their story in order to see which wife suffered the most under their marriage. As an avid fan of this show, I wanted to create an apparel line that both was fun and colorful, yet still showcased each character’s personality and emphasis to the show’s themes. Each character has unique typography added to the minimalistic graphics as an homage to albums of real-life pop stars (i.e. Beyonce, Ariana Grande, etc.) that the creators of the show used as inspiration for their personalities and musical motifs.
